JOYOUS CELEBRATIONS GREET ALAN KYEREMANTENG AS HE STORMS KUMASI TO UNVEIL HIS PLANS TO CONTEST NPP PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES TO OTUMFOUR

Kumasi was thrown into a state of frenzy when Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng and his campaign team stormed the Garden City on Monday.

Tens of thousands of well wishers and New Patriotic Party sympathizers had crowded the tarmac and roads leading to the airport long before the airplane carrying the trade icon touched down at Kumasi International Airport.

For over an hour, the atmosphere was charged with love and affection as jubilant party folks stretched themselves to shake hands with the celebrated former Trade and Industry Minister who has been tipped to win the presidential primaries. As a show of love and affection for his supporters, Alan Kyeremanteng ditched his air-conditioned land cruiser and resolved to walk side by side with his supporters right from the airport roundabout towards the Manhyia Palace.

Amongst the Alan campaign team were distinguished individuals including Mr. Kwadwo Korankye, Fiifi Ofori Atta, Former Ambassador to Canada and Former Attorney General Mr Ayikoi Otoo, Ahaji Kamel Nasara Greater Accra Chairman, Former MP and CEO Ghana Export Promotion Council Hon Gifty Klenam, Nana Yaw Sarpong, Former MCE Atwima Kwanwoma  Nana Tawia, Former Zongo Minister Hon Boniface Siddick, former ambassador Kyeremateng, Hon Patricia Appiagyei, Former Ashanti Regional Minister S.K Boafo etc.

The Former Trade Minister reiterated the successes he has chalked for Ghana and the Ashanti Region including the African continental trade office in Accra, several factories dotted across the country, the Ejisu and Ghana industrial cities all in the Ashanti region amongst others.

In a short exhortation to Alan Kyeremanteng, a son of the Ashanti region, Otumfour Osei Tutu II Observed: “Since your childhood, I’ve not heard you speak ill of anybody. As you embark on your campaign, stick to your message and explain to Ghanaians what you can do”.

In a general advice to party folks, His Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II stressed: “Party folks, when selecting a candidate for the party, do not choose one who is just popular within the party; choose one who would be accepted by the larger Ghanaian community”; an advice which favors the personality of Alan Kyeremanteng. a man whose cause, many Ghanaians favor.

In an interview with afropolitanonline.com, Mr. Kwadwo Korankye aka Yellow man, a staunch supporter of the Alan campaign stressed: ” There is an atmosphere of uneasiness in Ghana right now; economic conditions are unfavorable. So we need a candidate who, granted the economic challenges were to remain in 2024, Ghanaians could still repose confidence, trust and belief in his capacity to deliver and swing the tides in favor of Ghana. Secondly, we need a candidate who could increase or maintain the votes in Ashanti region for the party. And that candidate is Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng”.

When asked as to the chances of Alan Kyeremanteng wining the primaries, Kwadwo Korankye intimated: “Party delegates must do everything possible to vote for Alan Kyeremanteng so the NPP could maintain power” .
