OKUDZETO ABLAKWAH DARES AG GODFRED DAME TO SUE HIM

The Attorney General, Godfred Dame, asked Member of Parliament for North Tongu Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwah in a press statement issued on 22^nd June 2022, to retract and apologize to him for his statement on his Face book page:

‘It is quiet revealing to observe that when the National Cathedral was incorporated on 18^th July 2019, the then Deputy AG Godfred dame was registered as secretary. During that same period, he served on the board of the PPA which approved Adjaye’s irregular sole sourcing contract”.

Hon Samuel Okudzeto further granted interviews in the media stating that position of Godfred Dame as secretary to the cathedral company’s registration and as board member of the PPA at the same time constitutes conflict of interest.

However, on 24^th June 2022, Metro TV’s Good Morning show, monitored by afropolitanonline.com, the former Deputy Minister of Education forcefully challenged Godfred Dame to sue: “I dare him to. When we are done with the National Cathedral it wouldn’t be a suing matter. Some people will go to jail”.

Now the Attorney General has the floor and freedom as Hon Okudzeto doesn’t seem to have the resolve to retract and apologize as its being demanded by Godfred Dame.

Now the onus is on Godfred Dame to do as he pleases. Can he?
