A great number of motivational speakers of diverse intellectual backgrounds sprung up from virtually every province in Ghana and the West African sub-region at the turn of the new millennium. These speakers traveled from town to town, city to city and crisscrossed countries speaking to hundreds and thousands of people; encouraging young entrepreneurs to focus on their business like Mark Zuckerberg of FACE BOOK, Larry page and Sergey Brin of GOOGLE fame.  They inspired high school and university students alike to center their attention on their studies and dare to be different.

For the past ten years, the number of such speakers has dwindled. The zeal of most of these once fired up speakers has been weakened and few can be found on the horizon today.

One man, who has remained consistent and focused over the last twenty years and whose workshops have impacted lives across the lengths and breadths of Ghana and Europe is Paa-Kumi.

From humble beginnings in Akim Oda, he has transformed the previously small Vision Care into PALI an amalgamation of different pursuits whose central emphases are on youth empowerment, ideation, servant leadership, Christian leadership among others. PALI, has over the years, hosted successful programs with great men like Professors Joseph Ofori Dankwa of SVSU who once consulted for General Motors , Stephen Addae of GIMPA fame, corporate coach Dei Tumi, politicians Dr. Arthur Kennedy and Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, Engineer Robert Woode, American inventor Duperon etc.

In 2007, the works of Paa-Kumi were examined by the British Council which found him worthy to make him a fellow of an inter action leadership program. In 2019, National student award scheme also voted Paa-Kumi as the most outstanding mentor of the year.

It comes as no surprise as Paa-Kumi has again been shortlisted among nineteen other outstanding men whose works have had immense global influence by the bestselling author Doctor Carl Wilson for LMA AWARDS 2022.
